Ireland has been under a bit of a heat wave recently.
It is still spring but we have been hitting the dizzy heights of 26 degrees Celsius (That’s 78 Fahrenheit for those imperial peeps)
For some of you, in far flung corers of the earth, that may be a cool day, but our record temperature was 30.8 Celsius (87.4 Fahrenheit) in 1976.
So much like the Wicked Witch of the West “Were Melting!”
And with the heat comes the feeling of lethargy. We want to sit in the garden, reading a book, waiting for the BBQ to heat up, so we can have a meat fest.
We don’t want to be sitting inside, being creative, as it seems the creative juices are being sweated out of us.
During this heat wave, I got my 50th follower! (Hurrah! and Hello!), and my blogs received their 1000th view. So a double whammy to celebrate.
Thankfully the weather is set to break tomorrow, so while it will be average temperatures, it should mean we can get back to being pale again.
