Stephen King, who helped to pioneer E-books as early as 2000 has taken the strange decision, not to release new book “Joyland” as an e-book.
His logic is :
“I [also] loved the paperbacks I grew up with as a kid, and for that reason, we’re going to hold off on e-publishing this one for the time being. Joyland will be coming out in paperback, and folks who want to read it will have to buy the actual book.”
Seems a strange logic Mr King!
Why delay the E-book?
Was he given a big advance or bigger royalties on the paperback by the publisher to hold off on digital release?
Surely this will lead some person on the net to create an E-book and then pirate it?
